The first time I spontaneously crocheted this bracelet, it was slightly different. As I have improved on its supposed "lock" and made myself aware of the count, I thought I better make the pattern, for your enjoyment.
You are free to use the pattern but please do not copy to another site. Instead, please link to this post for reference. If you choose to sell the bracelets you have made out of this pattern, you are free to do so.
Materials:
- crochet thread (mercerized cotton)
- 2 coins or washers
- 10 beads
Tools:
- 1.6mm crochet hook
- tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch
- A = arch
- sc = single crochet
- R = ring
- T = turn
- st = stitch
- sp = space
- prev = previous
Note: There is 1 ring, 8 regular arches and 1 smaller arch at the end. Pattern is for the bracelet. If you want to make an anklet, necklace or belt, just add to the regular arches accordingly.
Directions:
1. ch15, sl st into 1st ch, ch2, sc25 into R, sl st into ch2 sp, ch2, sc25 around, sl st into ch2 sp
2. [ch10, sc into 5th st, ch1, T, sc15 into R, sc into next st of prev R or A, ch1, T, sc15, sc into next st of prev R or A, T] x 8
3. ch8, sc into 5th st, ch1, T, sc10 into R, sc into next st of prev A, ch1, T, sc10, sc into next st of prev A, T
4. ch22, sc into coin/washer, sl st into each ch, sc into next st of last A, ch25, sc into 2nd coin/washer, sl st into each ch, sc into next st of last A, cut thread, weave in ends.
5. sew in beads accordingly using the same crochet thread, making sure that ends do not show.
